Norfolk landscape photography workshop – coastal sunset
This Norfolk landscape photography workshop will be based on the North Norfolk coast, hoping to make the most of a coastal sunset. You will be able to try long exposure photography with filters. We will look at using HDR and gradual ND filters to achieve a balanced image. There may also be opportunities to photograph coastal birds if you wish to do so. If you are a travel photographer, landscape photographer or prefer a more artistic approach there will be plenty for you to try at this great beach location.
 
 
 
To get the most out of this workshop you will need a camera that allows you to control aperture, shutter speed and ISO. A DSLR camera is ideal. If possible, please bring a tripod as this is essential for low light and long exposure work. If you have any filters please do bring those along as well. A remote or cable release is helpful for long exposures. If you are at all uncertain if your equipment is suitable please do get in touch and we will be happy to advise you.
This Norfolk landscape photography workshop will suit those who have at least some basic understanding of how to use their camera. It is an ideal opportunity to improve your technical skills and to work on composition. If you are not sure about how to use your camera, you will probably find it useful to go on one of our beginner’s courses first.
Your tutor on the day will be Joe Lenton. Joe holds an Associateship with the Society of International Nature & Wildlife Photographers, specialising in Norfolk sunrises and sunsets. Joe enjoys helping people develop their photography and creative skills. He will be happy to answer any questions you have. The group will be kept to a small number to ensure that everyone can get the most enjoyment and benefit from the workshop.
Please either bring something for an evening meal or some money to buy food on the night. You will need some change to pay for parking as well.
