Night Photography Workshop in Norwich
This night photography workshop will explore photographing the city of Norwich at night. Cityscapes take on a whole new feel at night time. We will also look at photographing light trails using passing traffic. This is a great opportunity to try something a little different. We will be a small group  to ensure safety and to make sure everyone has a great quality evening. High visibility jackets will be supplied for safety purposes – do bring your own if you have one.
You will need a tripod, a camera that allows you to control the exposure manually (such as a DSLR). You will need to know how to adjust your aperture, shutter speed and ISO. It will be useful if you have a cable release or remote shutter release. Wide angle lenses to mid range will be most helpful. If you are unsure if your gear is suitable, please contact us and we’ll be happy to advise you. If given sufficient warning, we may be able to load you a tripod if you don’t have one.
This night photography workshop will suit landscape photographers who want to try something new. It is also suitable for anyone wanting to be more creative with their photography. We will be using major Norwich landmarks including the market. As well as shooting single images, Joe will cover using HDR to photograph high contrast scenes. Don’t worry if you’ve not done HDR before, Joe can explain it for you.
The images on this page give you some idea of the kind of images you might be able to achieve. If you would like to see more then please do take a look at our cityscapes at night post. We also have a blog article giving an introduction to light trails night photography.
