Beginners Photography Workshop Norwich
Would you like to be able to take better photos? Are you unsure how to use the controls on your camera? This beginners photography workshop is ideal for anyone who finds they are only using automatic mode on their camera. Together we will look at:
- How to control an exposure – using aperture, shutter speed and ISO
- Basic composition techniques – how to compose photos so that they draw your eye in
- Depth of field – how to emphasise your subject by deliberately blurring the background
- Finding new angles and developing your own style
You will also have the chance to photograph some great Norwich landmarks and come away with some new images to share.
Our beginners photography workshop is suitable for anyone just starting out with a new camera or for those who want to refresh their skills. You do not need lots of fancy equipment. The only requirement is a camera that allows you to have control over Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. You camera should have an A or Av mode, an M or Manual Mode and probably an S or Tv mode. If you have a DSLR, do bring along whichever lenses you would like to use.
If you are at all unsure whether the beginners photography workshop is right for you, please do get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise you. Want something a little more challenging? See our range of other workshops.
Groups are strictly limited to a maximum of 6 participants to ensure that you all get the opportunity to ask questions and benefit the most from your time with your tutor. Joe Lenton will be leading the workshop. He has won awards at international level for his photography and is an experienced tutor.
